FENMAN LODGE BINGO/FISH & CHIP SUPPER
The event took place on Friday 22nd March at Farcet
Village Club. There was a great turnout & the support
of the Valiant Lodge was very much appreciated.
A special mention to the PGL Bingo Caller Clive
Robinson, supported by Shirley on Ticket Sales and
Checkers Barry Scotney and John Barratt. The Bingo
Tickets were provided by Roy Bell & Linda, organised
and sold by Chris Wall & Jill Middleton.
Support of the Bingo Night was provided by
Lodge Stalwarts Bob Macnamara & Barry Scotney.
Thanks to everyone one who participated, the total
amount raised, including some generous donations,
came to £300 and will be shared between the Lodge
Charity Appeals 'Talking Newspapers' and the PGP's
Outside Charity Appeal 'Good Neighbours'.

VALIANT LODGE EXULTATION
Bro. David (Sam) Fishburn KOM, was raised to the
Fourth Degree on the afternoon of the Sunday
24th March at Wittering 'Sports of Social Club'
The Exultation was conducted by the ROH Assembly
President Bro. Terry Collingwood, ROH, PPGP 2010,
supported by the Director of Ceremonies, Bro. Tony
Carpenter ROH, and the Officers of the Peterborough
and District ROH Assembly.
Bro. Terry performed an excellent Ceremony and the
superb turnout of support was very much appreciated
by Bro. Sam who also thanked the Ladies led by Tracey
who once again presented a superb Buffet Graze.

VALIANT LODGE INSTALLATION
Bro. Robert Dudley will be raised to the Second
Degree on Sunday the 28th of April at Wittering
Social Club - 1 Silver Birch Court, Wittering, PE8 6BY.
The Installation will be conducted by the Provincial
Grand Primo Bro. Pete Dudley, KOM, also the 2009 PPGP,
supported by the Provincial Grand Chamberlain, Bro. Tony
Carpenter ROH, and the Officers of the Peterborough
and District Provincial Grand Lodge.
The Lodge will open at 1.00 pm with Regalia and
Official Visits welcome at 1.30 pm.
The Lodge will close at 4.00 for Graze.

PRESENTATIONS TO THE IPPGP's APPEAL
At the PGL Meeting on the 3rd of January, cheque
presentations were made to the Immediate Past
Provincial Grand Primo, Bro. Martyn Sharp ROH, by
representatives of the Eastgate and Fenman Lodges.
Bro. Pete Pierce ROH presented a cheque from the Brothers
of the Eastgate Lodge to the IPPGP Bro. Martyn Sharp ROH.
Representing the Fenman Lodge, 8960, Bro. Bob Macnamara ROH,
PPGP 2018, also presented a cheque to Brother Martyn.

FENMAN LODGE CHEQUE PRESENTATION
At the Lodge Meeting held on the 15th of December,
Bro. Bob Macnamara, ROH, presented the Club Kids
Xmas Party Cheque to Lou Hall, the Farcet Village
Club Steward, and Bro. Steve Hall, Club Secretary.
The cheque comprised a gift from both the PGL
and the Fenman Lodge 8960.

Charity Appeal. The Fenman Lodge

fishing Phoenix Pool.

EASTGATE LODGE HOG ROAST
Took place on Saturday 22nd July at that Parkway
Club. The Eastgate Lodge thanks for your support
with the Raffle raising £282 with again lots of prizes
available. Many thanks to Chris & Tina for the ticket
sales and the ticket folding for which they were
assisted by many others originally headed for the bar.
The catering was again provided by Malcolm Hollis of
March followed by a great set from Shadowside.

Took place on Sunday 9th of July with the Raffle
raising £200 for the PGP's Charity Appeal.

CHARITY APPEAL CHEQUE PRESENTATION
At the April PGL, Bro. Colin Dean, ROH, PPGP 2020 / 2021
announced that he had presented the Charity Appeal cheque to a
representative of Dementia South Lincs. The cheque was received by
Kate Martial on the 15th of March at a social meeting for dementia
sufferers that takes place on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
The presentation by Colin received a great round of applause
and an appreciative thanks from from manager Kate.

Romayne and Barry Scotney celebrated 50 years of
wedded blisson Friday 31st of March at the Farcet
RAOB & Village Club. The evening was well supported
with many Brothers of the Province in attendance.

the Provincial Grand Primo for their attendance.

EASTGATE LODGE 2022 CHARITY APPEAL
At their pre-Christmas meeting, members of the Eastgate Lodge
presented £3500 to the Friends of Heltwate School.
Heltwate School in Bretton Peterborough is a co-educational
special school for children and young people aged 4 to 19 years
with Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties, Autistic Spectrum
Condition & many additional medical needs.
On behalf of the Lodge, Steve Jones and chief fundraiser
Pete, who with wife Anne, raised most of the cash at car boot sales
throughout 2022 said: The Eastgate Lodge is pleased to support
a cause which does do much marvellous work with children
and young people.

Bro. Maurice Beck of the Locomotive Lodge was Inducted to the
2nd Degree on Thursday 24th November 2022.

FENMAN LODGE HORSE RACING
The event took place on Friday 18th of November
2022 at the RAOB & Village Club Farcet.
The Brothers of the Fenman Lodge would like
to thank all of the Brothers and Lodges who
supported the event by buying horses and
sponsoring the races. We would also like to
thank those who turned up on the evening.
The Race Night raised £915.50 in support of
the Lodge Charity Appeal, No Gain No Pain.

the Top Weight for a Non Buff winner was Mellisa Valance.

Float Fish Farm complex, after the match we relocated to the
Farcet Village Club for the Trophy presentation and Buffet.

2018 Provincial Grand Lodge Dinner
The PGL Dinner took place on the 13th of October at the Farcet Village Club.
The delicious food was was presented by Clark Catering with entertainment
provided by the lovely Nikki. There was a healthy turnout was very much
appreciated by the PGP, Bro. Bob Macnamara, ROH.
Well done to Bob Buff and Dave Spencer for your hard work also John &
Robert Dudley for the Raffle ticket sales which on the evening raised £125
