GEORGE SIMPSON

Peterborough & District Provincial Grand Primo for 2006, Bro. Barry Scotney ROH decided very early on in his year of office, to make his appeal of the year a local affair. In fact Bro. Barry chose the son of a Brother of the Eastgate Lodge as his outside charity for 2006.

George Simpson was born with severe physical disabilities. He has Cerebral Palsy and his movement and ability to interact with the world are heavily restricted. George’s Mum & Dad do everything they can to make life easier for George, and they have recently been fortunate enough to receive assistance from local builders to make essential alterations to the home, to enable George to live more comfortably.

In 2006 Bro. Barry Scotney’s appeal on behalf of George Simpson raised £4,844:50 – money that will help Bro. Scott Simpson (George’s Dad) and his wife to suitably equip the home.

The Photo’ shows Bro. Barry with George, his Mum & Dad and some of the people that gave their support of this years PGP's Appeal .
